Why should we think we always have to know the answer to every question our children ask? Producing Mother Nature’s Child, we kept hearing about parents and teachers who avoid taking children out in nature fearing that kids might ask questions them they don’t know how to answer. But experts tell us that when children realize their questions are actually real, their interest level increases and they become motivated to search for the answer! Isn’t this exactly what we want for our kids? And researching the answer becomes a great opportunity to integrate outdoor experiences with screen time.
